With around 40 professionals, the team in Roosendaal forms a close-knit club where there is always sincere attention for everyone. Do you prefer to spend all day working on pre-chewed standard projects and doing the same work as yesterday? Then this job is probably not for you. In fact, this job at our client is one for a Chief Mechanic who likes to ensure quality, safety, progress and control of the work. You will instruct the mechanics in a motivating way and ensure a pleasant working atmosphere.
You ensure that no accidents happen and that the working atmosphere is pleasant. You manage this because as a Chief Engineer:
- Structure the work, supported by tight project planning;
- Ensure that work is carried out correctly and on time;
- Ensures a safe working environment;
- Supporting and facilitating engineers to get the best out of themselves;
- Always open to feedback, and give it back to your team.
Every day, we have to make a difference at our clients' premises and perform at our best. We ask this of all our employees, including you as a Chief Engineer. To make a difference in your work, you can think a few steps ahead and do not have a 9-to-5 mentality. On top of that:
- In possession of an MBO degree in electrical engineering, level 4;
- You are responsible and by experience a good leader;
- You are used to working in teams of about 5 engineers;
- Are you communicative;
- Are you technically well-versed;
- Can you ensure safety, quality and progress on the work.
We ask a lot of you as a Chief Engineer and so we offer a lot. To be precise, we offer for this position on the basis of 40 hours per week:
- To start with, a one-year contract with the intention of extending it indefinitely;
- A salary appropriate to your knowledge and work experience;
- Travel time and expense allowance;
- A good pension scheme;
- 25 holidays + 13 adv-days. That adds up nicely;
